I am not a hairdresser/barber, so I wouldn't know how to identify quality scissors. These are far more expensive ($84.95 plus 5% off) than the pair I bought for cutting my hair, but the difference in quality isn't obvious to me. The scissors look as pictured. They're smaller than I pictured. The finger loops just fit me, and I'm petite. I definitely feel they are too small for larger or men's hands. The finish is already a little worn in places. The leather case is nice. It's clearly meant to hold more tools and accessories, but the only other item is a cloth. It came in an unsealed plastic bag. It's underwhelming for the price. I feel like I got a good deal with my cheap scissors.
